🎃 Old Escondido Halloween Decorating Contest 2025 👻

 

The Old Escondido Historic District is looking delightfully spooky! From October 1st–26th, neighbors all across the district are decking out their homes in their Halloween best — and now it’s time for you to join the fun by voting for your favorite decorated house.

 

🗳️ How to Vote:
While you’re out walking, driving, or trick-or-treat-scouting, keep an eye out for the most creative, creepy, or downright dazzling displays. When you spot a standout, vote for it here:

Only homes within the Old Escondido Historic District are eligible, so stick to the neighborhood while casting your votes!

 

🎃 What Happens Next:
On October 27th at 7PM, the Old Escondido Board will hop on a Haunted Hayride to tour the top-voted homes. Then, on Halloween Day, we’ll announce the three winning properties — and crown this year’s spooky champions!
