Mothers Day Home Tour

Sunday, May 8, 2016

11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Featuring the Exceptional Beach House and Four Other Distinctive Historic Homes

Tour the interiors and gardens of five historic homes  and enjoy refreshments in the lovely Beach House garden.   Thousands have enjoyed our Home Tours in the past, hundreds returning year after year; if you haven’t before, we hope you will join us for this wonderful  Mothers Day tradition.

Tickets are $25 each if purchased prior to the event or $30 on the day of. One child under the age of 12 admitted at no charge with each paying adult.

This is a self-paced tour; the homes can be visited in any order.  An attractive keep-sake program with a map and descriptions of all the homes will be provided  to each ticket holder on the day of the tour at Home Tour Headquarters.

The homes are within a half mile of each other, walking distance for the average person although there are a couple of fairly steep hills along the way.  Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.   We regret that these historic homes are not wheelchair accessible.  No strollers or pets will be allowed inside the homes.

This year’s homes are nicely diverse, offering something for everyone with each representing a different decade in Escondido history.  Here are the homes you will be seeing:

The Beach House - Escondido’s “Crown Jewel”  1896
