Board of Directors’ Meeting Minutes

December 6, 2006

 

 

  1. The monthly meeting was called to order at the home of  Dianne Ferguson by ConnieSue Dickinson,  President ; also in attendance were Carol Rea, Dick Althouse, Joyce Koppelman, Doug Eagleson, Steve Rosefeld, Lynn Hall, and Brita Smith. Kevin Hall was absent. The meeting opened at 7:09 P.M.

 

  1. Carol moved/seconded by Lynn to approve the minutes of the Nov. 1 ,2006 OD Meeting with two corrections;   II B   (strike out the words “less than10 zones” and replace with “zones”)    IV E  ( strike out the  words “ up and running “ and replace with “ finished”)  Passed by voice vote

 

  1. Committee Reports:

 

    1. Finance-          as of Dec. 6, 2006   checkbook balance $ 8156.32

    2. By Laws -      no action

    3. Home Tour -      see attached minutes of meeting of 11/16/06

    4. Quarterly Meeting -    Jan. 11 , 2007   DBA ?  or Jay Petrek  ( Carol to contact Jay )   Steve to do refreshments

    5. Welcome Neighbors     Doug needs new data info

    6. Newsletter   ConnieSue still needs to retrieve paper from previous printer

    7. Traffic/Sidewalks      no report

    8. Website    need last month minutes to put on website     

    9. Tee Shirts       after holidays Dianne to check this out

    10. Christmas Parade Float -     Carol reports float in progress;   Doug’s truck

  1. Old Business:

    1. Holiday Decorating Contest   no nominations to date   Carol , Doug, Dianne to do drive by.

    2. How are we doing with Home Tour ticket database ?

    3. New OEN address      P.O. Box ?      Escondido History Center for physical address requirement to satisfy Post Office …. Need to purchase P.O.Box       (Doug) 

 

  1. New Business:

 

    1. Insurance Needs-    Kevin not present to discuss our needs and options

    2. OEN  Storage facility   still need to locate a rental area and then clean out Dick’s basement of OEN articles and consolidate possessions.

    3. Motion by Carol/seconded by ConnieSue to set Home Tour ticket prices at  $12.50   presale    $15.00 day of event  1age 12 and under free  Passed by voice vote

 

Next meeting set for  Thursday  Jan., 4 , 2007 at Dianne’s house     First  Thurs of the month for 2007 calendar year.  Bag lunches   BYOB ?  B as in Bag .
