I. The monthly meeting was called to order by President, ConnieSue Dickinson, at 7:14 P.M. at the home

    of  Dick Althouse , 129 W. 8^th Ave. , Escondido. Also attending were Carol Rea, Dianne Ferguson,

     Doug Eagleson. and Chuck Johnson. Absent were Steve Rosefeld and Joyce Koppelman.

 

II. Motion by Carol/ seconded by Dianne to approve the minutes of the March  1, 2006 BOD Meeting.

    Passed by voice vote.

 

III.  Committee Reports:

     A. Finance -    as of 4/5/2006      checkbook balance     $ 2600.71

     B. Quarterly Meeting   guest speaker will be Cathrine Laguna  , “Then and Now”  Marie-Jo unable to

         do presentation as scheduled for July , but will do one in Oct. Possible presentation for July would be

         disaster preparedness in City.

    C. Home Tour    much discussion in preparation of upcoming event.

    D. Welcome  Our Neighbors    no report

    E.  Newsletter     still need a new Editor.

    F.  Traffic/Sidewalks   no news to report

    G. Website     Site updated by ConnieSue to include Home Tour page   tickets can be bought thru the

         mail or online with credit card

   H.  T- Shirts      no report

    I. By- Laws      no meetings scheduled until after Home Tour

 

IV. Action Items :

    A. Neighborhood U.S.A.  May 24-27  Anyone want to go ?

    B. Rummage Sale      tabled

    C.  Joyce Koppelman is now at Redwood Town Court  room 248.

 

V. Old Business :

    A. History Conference    was not as presented by sponsors   Carol did the work for our

       representation at event.

   B. Annual Clean Up in the Neighborhood   April 29   8:00 A.M. til Noon   need volunteers to help that

      day.   Dick, Doug, Steve ? , Matt Fox ?  Carol   Dick to order dumpsters and set up signs for

      placement on Grape St. 

 

VI. New Business :

     A.  Possible candidates for  BOD    Kevin and Lynne Hall.
