I.  The monthly meeting was called to order at 7:12 P.M.  by President, ConnieSue Dickinson at the home of Doug Eagleson , 425 E. 7^th Ave. , Escondido .  Also in attendance were Carol Rea, Dick Althouse, Doug Eagleson, Dianne Ferguson, Steve Rosefeld ,Matt Fox, and Chuck Johnson. Joyce Koppelman is in the hospital after a fall at her home.

 

II. There were no minutes taken at the February 2006 BOD meeting.

 

III.  Committee Reports:

      A. Finance-    as of 3/1/06   checkbook balance is $3585.71  Carol needs a check in the amount of $900.00 to start print work for tickets for Mother’s Day Home Tour. Issued same at this time.

     B. Traffic/Sidewalks.  Stop sign at 9^th Ave. and Juniper ?  Will set up Traffic Committee after May.

    C. Welcome Neighbors-  Doug is very busy.  Board will divvy up new neighbors to visit and spread out the workload.

    D. Newsletter -  Ready for proofread by 3/13/06

    E. Home Tour -  Open discussion about job assignments, publicity , possible look of tickets and flyers , booklet .

    F. Website -   ConnieSue still doing upgrades

   G. T-Shirts  -     still bookoo  to sell.

   H. By-Laws    no show at last meeting    Wait until June for next meeting

 

IV. Action Items:

 

    A.  Joyce Koppelman is in hospital.  BOD sent flowers.  Joyce will need convalescent care for considerable time.

   B. Rummage Sale -    tabled

   C. History Conference -   ConnieSue to work Friday and Carol to work Saturday

   D. Lucy Berk /Fark  hip surgery on 3/13 – people needed to look in on Mr. Bill.

 

V. Old Business:

   A. SOHO Craftsman Weekend    10:00  A.M. Sunday  3/12    Doug’s house ;   he will drive .  If too many bodies attend , ConnieSue will also drive.

 

VI. New Business:

    A. With much regret, Matt Fox has rendered his resignation from BOD.  The Board accepts with regrets and understanding.

   B. Clean Up Day       Saturday, April 29, 2006   Those who can to help

   C. Grape Day        Motion by Carol/second ConnieSue to participate this year. Dick authorized to submit check for application  Passed by voice vote
