Old Escondido Neighborhood Board of Directors’ Meeting November 10, 2005
I. The monthly meeting was called to order at the home of Joyce Koppelman , 464 Chestnut Ln, Escondido, Ca. by ConnieSue Dickinson. Also present were Carol Rea, Dick Althouse, Matt Fox. Doug Eagleson, Dianne Ferguson ; absent were Chuck Johnson and Steve Rosefeld.
II. Motion made by Carol/seconded by Dianne to approve the BOD Minutes of Oct. 11,2005 meeting ; passed by voice vote.
III. Committee Reports: A. Finance as of 11/ 10/ 05 checkbook balance is $4892.11 B. Traffic/Sidewalks 9th Ave. Project almost complete Need to start an active traffic committee to look into other issues in the neighborhood. C. Home Tour Will meet the first Tuesday of each month at training room City Hall D. Welcome no report E. Newsletter 11/12 article deadline to Tina Palleston There was discussion concerning extending print time closer to January Qtr. Meeting. F. Quarterly Meeting 2nd Thurs. in January, April, July , Oct. locked in on Public Library calendar. G. Web Site Matt to be in charge of upgrades H. By Laws next meeting Jan. 19 , 2006 at Carol’s then 3rd Thurs. each month .
IV. Action Items A. Parade Float Chuck can get trailer ; Dick to call Chuck. Dick needs to submit 3x5 card with float details to Parade Committee at City B. Code Issues in Neighborhood tabled C. Rummage Sale tabled Steve Rosefeld absent; his idea to start up again D. Street Faire Booth Carol would like to sell Home Tour tickets October 2006 E.2006 Calendar check it out for errors F. Escondido History Center membership Motion ConnieSue/ second Doug $250 membership this year. Passed by voice vote
