Escondido City Hall, Training Room #1

Attending: ConnieSue Dickinson, Dick Althouse, Doug Eagleson, Carol Rea

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm by Committee Chairperson ConnieSue Dickinson.

Meeting place – Julie Lyon has graciously offered their bed and breakfast for our monthly meetings, however those present agreed that the stairway up would be difficult for many of our committee members to ascend.  Instead, we decided to continue meeting at Escondido City Hall in Training Room #1, as it has already been scheduled for the 2^nd Tuesday of every month.

House selection status – Home Selection Committee Chairperson Doug Eagleson announced that 429 E. 6^th has agreed to be on the tour.  425 E. 5^th is still undecided.  Carla diDominicis is also still undecided.

Home Tour Hours – Those present agreed that it would make sense to increase the hours that the event would be held to 5 and that the home tours would start at 11:00 am and end at 4:00 pm.  For greater efficiency and for better customer satisfaction, it was decided that tours will be self-guided with docents available in each area to provide information as approlpriate and to answer questions.

Staffing – We agreed that we need a separate cashier and a knowledgeable docent out front of each house to present background and historical info to those waiting in line.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:07 pm.

The next meeting will be held on December 6 at 7:00 pm in Training Room #1 at Escondido City Hall.
